DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36 on Thursday, 3 November,
3 pm.
By popular demand, music lovers will be able to welcome Svetlana Katchour, a well-known opera and concert singer, and Tatjana Funk (pianist) as guests at the "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" music café. Katchour has already performed a wide variety of opera roles at European opera houses and theatres. She captivates audiences with her youthful, fascinating appearance and the unmistakable quality of an exceptional voice.
At the Chemnitz Opera House she has appeared as Violetta in La Traviata or Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and in several other opera performances. She is characterised by her extraordinary versatility and variability. At the Musikcafé, she will delight the audience with Italian songs.
Tatjana Funk teaches piano at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.
Singer and pianist are close friends and entertain audiences at recitals with Russian music or classical melodies.
Music school director Nancy Gibson will once again ask Svetlana Katchour a few questions at this music café, so that interesting facts about her future opera and concert appearances will be revealed.
Music lovers can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with coffee and cake.
The entrance fee is 5 euros (including coffee and cake).
