DA CAPO - Music for seniors

Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 1 December 2016

"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 1 December 2016 at 3 pm in the large hall of the Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36.

Esther Lingath, certified music teacher at Chemnitz Municipal Music School, and the following music students from Chemnitz Municipal Music School will be welcomed as guests at the music café:

  • Julia Heilmann - vocals (teacher Antje Schneider),

  • Klara and Fin Thomschke - piano (teacher Ulrike Gruner-Zaunick),
  • Annegret Neumann - piano (teacher Michael Fröhlich),
  • Nanette Gruber - piano (teacher Tatjana Funk),
  • Maya Wallbrecht - piano (teacher Tatjana Funk),
  • Jonas Otte - piano (teacher Jenny Mehlhorn-Taubner),
  • Marie Meinhold - oboe (teacher Ilka Stöß),
  • Isabell Neumann - oboe (teacher Ilka Stöß),

  • Stanislava Timanovska - violin (teacher Andreas Winkler),

All of them have already mastered solo performances at several events organised by the Municipal Music School. Esther Lingath will also accompany the singing students on the piano.

The students will all take part in the "Jugend musiziert" music competition at the end of January 2017:

In an exciting and insightful chat between Nancy Gibson and the young artists, there will be plenty of interesting things to learn about their love of music and their dreams.

Admission is 5 euros, including coffee and cake.
