DA CAPO - Music for seniors

Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 7 December 2017, 3 p.m.

"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 7 December at 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. This time, the guests will be music students from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, all of whom will be taking part in the 2018 "Jugend musiziert" music competition.

The admission price is six euros including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access for wheelchair users is available at the signposted side entrance.

The students are: Anna Schumann - recorder, Julia Carola Seifert - recorder, Lara Maria Rudelt - transverse flute, Christiane Hertwig and Klara Thomschke - piano four-handed, Anna Chiara Rudelt - flutendig, Anna Chiara Rudelt and Finn Thomschke - piano four hands, Jonathan Morgenstern and Maximilian Zaunick - duo violin and piano, Elsa Nienhagen and Sarah-Elena Scheinpflug - duo voice and piano, Maya Wallbrecht and Lina Victoria Wallbrecht - piano four hands, Nanette Gruber and Karolin Scheunert - duo piano and voice, Marvin Uhlig - flute, Elisawetha Podkowyrina and Pascal Unterschütz - piano four hands, Gabriel Lehmann and Josefine Lehmann - piano four hands, Rachel Quellmalz and Josefine Lehmann - duo flute and piano, Katerina Lis - guitar. They have already mastered solo performances at several events organised by the Municipal Music School.

Visitors will learn many interesting facts in an exciting and informative chat between the young artists and Nancy Gibson. Well-known opera melodies will also be played.
