DA CAPO - Music for seniors
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 1 June 2017
"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 1 June 2017 at 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. Admission is six euros including coffee and cake.
By popular demand, the well-known opera and concert singer Kerstin Randall and the pianist Emi Suzuki will be the guests.
Kerstin Randall has already performed a wide variety of opera and operetta roles, e.g. Susannna in "The Marriage of Figaro", Wellgunde in "Das Reingold" or Adele in "Die Fledermaus" and has been invited to guest performances at various opera houses, e.g. in Tokyo, Berlin, Leipzig and Freiberg. At the Chemnitz Opera House, for example, she appeared as Mrs Meeker in "Funny Girl" or as Vicky Nichols in the musical "Ganz oder gar nicht". She is characterised by her extraordinary versatility and variability. She also teaches classical singing at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School. Kerstin Randall will introduce five of her music students, sing together with them and invite the audience to sing along.
Emi Suzuki also teaches piano at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.
There will also be an exciting and informative discussion between Nancy Gibson, Kerstin Randall and Emi Suzuki and the music students, in which the audience will learn many interesting facts.
