DA CAPO - Music for seniors
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 4 October, 3 p.m.
"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 4 October at 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. The guests this time will be Fred Engmann, a music graduate from the music school, and three of his students. Admission is 6 euros including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access for wheelchair users is available at the signposted side entrance.
Fred Engmann teaches trumpet and recorder at the municipal music school. He is also deputy head of the wind section, with special responsibility for the brass section. Thanks to his efforts, a wind orchestra was founded at the music school, which has already played at many events under his direction. He is also a member of the Association of Friends and Supporters of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School e. V. This association collects donations that are used for repairs or for the purchase of new instruments or various events.
