DA CAPO - Music for seniors
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 3 May, 3 p.m.
"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36 next Thursday, 3 May at 3 pm.
This time, the guests will be the DA CAPO ensemble under the direction of Roswitha Oelsner (former musician of the Chemnitz Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra) and two young students she teaches. Admission is six euros including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access for wheelchair users is available at the signposted side entrance.
The five ladies of the DA CAPO ensemble have already delighted many listeners with their music. They have already played at various events organised by the music school, in retirement homes, birthday parties and club celebrations. Their programme is very varied. They play classical music, waltzes, marches and folk songs. The young students will also delight visitors with a few pieces of music. Roswitha Oelsner has also been the concertmaster of the Drebach church orchestra for many years. She is responsible for organising the sheet music and the "further training" of the string players during rehearsals.
Music café visitors learn many interesting facts in an exciting and informative chat between Nancy Gibson, Roswitha Oelsner and the young pupils.
