DA CAPO - Music for seniors
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 6 September, 3 p.m.
"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 6 September at 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. The guests this time are Svetlana Katchour, opera and concert singer, and Tatjana Funk, pianist. The entrance fee is 6 euros including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access for wheelchair users is available at the signposted side entrance.
Svetlana Katchour has already played a wide variety of opera roles at many European opera houses and theatres. She captivates audiences with her youthful, fascinating appearance and the unmistakable quality of an exceptional voice. At the Chemnitz Opera House, for example, she can be seen as Violetta in La Traviata or Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. Tatjana Funk teaches piano at the municipal music school. Both entertain audiences at recitals with Russian music or classical melodies.
Nancy Gibson will also ask Svetlana Katchour a few questions this time, so that music lovers will learn lots of interesting things about her future opera and concert appearances. Well-known melodies will be played between the conversations.
