DA CAPO - Music for seniors
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 7 October, 3 pm - with Emi Suzuki
On Thursday, 7 October at 3 pm, senior citizens are once again invited to a DA CAPO music café - music for senior citizens in the main hall of Kraftwerk e.V..
The musical guests will be Emi Suzuki on the grand piano and pupils from the ZUŠ Chomutov Youth Art School and the Ensemble-100 Mozartkinder.
The admission price is six euros, including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access is available at the signposted side entrance. Due to the limited number of seats, visitors are requested to make a reservation by calling 0371 3839030.
The Japanese pianist Emi Suzuki studied at the Tokyo College of Music and completed her studies at the Prague Conservatory. She has toured many countries, where she has won several prizes. Emi Suzuki currently teaches at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and at the Youth Art School in Chomutov. She is involved in German-Czech co-operation on behalf of the Sächsische Mozart-Gesellschaft e.V. (Saxon Mozart Society).
The senior academy of the ZUŠ Chomutov Youth Art School was invited to this music café. Chomutov and Chemnitz senior citizens can exchange and compare their experiences and programmes.
Of course, this music café will also be accompanied by Nancy Gibson. Any suggestions for work with senior citizens are welcome.
