DA CAPO - Music for seniors
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 1 November, 3 p.m.
"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 1 November at 3 pm in the large hall of Kraftwerk e.V. at Kaßbergstraße 36. The guest this time will be Carsten Knödler, director of drama at Chemnitz Theatre. Admission is 6 euros including coffee and cake. There is barrier-free access for wheelchair users at the signposted side entrance.
Carsten Knödler initially studied chemistry before training as an actor at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. After guest engagements, he worked as a permanent actor and director at Chemnitz Theatre for eight years. From 2003, Carsten Knödler worked as a freelance director at numerous theatres throughout Germany. From 2009 to 2013, he was acting director of the Gerhart Hauptmann Theatre in Görlitz-Zittau. During this time, he co-founded the international theatre initiative JOS, a collaboration between the theatres of Liberec, Jelenia Góra and Zittau.
Carsten Knödler has been acting director at Chemnitz Theatre since 2013. He can look back on over 50 productions. He favours the American and Russian realists, the classics, his own adaptations and adaptations of world literature as well as musical productions.
