DA CAPO - Music for seniors

Music café at Kraftwerk e. V. on 2 September, 3 p.m.

On Thursday, 2 September at 3 pm, senior citizens are once again invited to a DA CAPO music café in the main hall of Kraftwerk e. V.. Dr Jeffrey Goldberg will be the guest. He is no longer a stranger to Chemnitz thanks to his concerts.

Admission is six euros, including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access is available at the signposted side entrance. Due to the limited number of seats, visitors are requested to make a reservation by calling 0371 3839030.

Dr Jeffrey Goldberg studied composition and conducting at Harvard University and holds a doctorate in education from Harvard University. He worked for many years as a repetiteur and conductor at the Staatstheater Darmstadt and Staatstheater Hannover and was engaged as music director at various theatres in Boston and New England. He has also performed as a concert pianist and regularly devotes himself to new music, writing operas and improvisations.

In the Music Café, Dr Jeffrey Goldberg talks to Nancy Gibson about his musical ideas and his work. Of course, there will be a lot of music again.
