DA CAPO - Music for senior citizens
Music café at Kraftwerk e.V. on 3 November, 3 pm - with Matthias Gagelmann
On Thursday, 3 November at 3 pm, interested parties are once again invited to a DA CAPO music café - music for senior citizens in the main hall of the Kraftwerk e.V.. The guest of honour will be Matthias Gagelmann, who will introduce guests to the violoncello. He and pianist Emi Suzuki on the piano and students Amos Jantz and Cornelius Glanz will provide the musical backdrop for the music café. The director of the Municipal Music School, Nancy Gibson, will chat with the participants.
Admission is 7 euros, including coffee and biscuits. Barrier-free access is available at the signposted side entrance. Due to the limited number of seats, visitors are requested to make a reservation by calling 0371 3839030.
Matthias Gagelmann has been principal cellist of the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra (LSO) since 1993. He has performed as a soloist not only with the LSO but also with numerous other orchestras. He was appointed chamber virtuoso in 2013.
