On Thursday, 4 June at 3 pm, interested parties are invited to the finale of the music café "Da Capo - Music for Seniors" in the large hall of Kraftwerk e. V., Kaßbergstraße 36.
Admission costs 7 euros including coffee and cake. Registration is not required. Barrier-free access is available at the signposted side entrance.
In the final edition of Musikcafé Da Capo, Nancy Gibson, Head of the Municipal Music School, welcomes teachers and students of the music school, who will look back together on the many past Musikcafés.
The Da Capo groups of the Municipal Music School will play and sing under the direction of Christiane Korn and Matthias Gagelmann.
Since April 2009, the Da Capo music café has been inviting people to a musical chat with Nancy Gibson at the Kraftwerk on the first Thursday of every month.
Nancy Gibson was the initiator of the project, which she realised with the help of the former director of the Kraftwerk, Ute Kiehn-Dziuballa, and project employee Helga Neumeister.
Many well-known artists and personalities from Chemnitz were once again guests at the Musikcafé Da Capo this music school year, such as Jeffrey Goldberg, Kerstin Randall, Hartmut Schill, Dr Christoph Dittrich, Wieland Müller, Elke Beer, Dr Peter Seifert and Andreas Bochmann.
