On Thursday, 12 March* at 3 pm, interested parties are once again invited to a music café "DA CAPO - Music for Senior Citizens" in the large hall of Kraftwerk e. V., Kaßbergstraße 36.
Admission costs 7 euros including coffee and cake. (Registration is not required.) Barrier-free access is available at the signposted side entrance.
In the March edition of the music café, Nancy Gibson, Head of the Municipal Music School, welcomes Andreas Bochmann. The musician plays guitar and sings rock and country classics. His distinctive voice is reminiscent of pop and country star Tom Astor.
Andreas Bochmann can look back on a varied career. At the age of 72, he not only has experience, but also a remarkable range of talents: He was a theatre technician, dispatch manager and print technician. He was also an active member of the Association of Visual Artists of the GDR. From 1996 to 2007, he was press spokesman for the city of Chemnitz and in 2014 became deputy head of the then municipal enterprise Tietz.
Andreas Bochmann already performed with Nancy Gibson at the Musikcafé in March 2025. Both enchanted the audience with the classic "500 Miles".
