On Thursday, 4 September at 3 pm, interested parties are once again invited to a music café "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" in the large hall of Kraftwerk e. V., Kaßbergstraße 36.
The entrance fee is 7 euros including coffee and cake. Barrier-free access is available at the signposted side entrance.
In the September edition, the Musikcafé welcomes former Lord Mayor Dr Peter Seifert, who was in office from 1993 to 2006. In conversation with Nancy Gibson, Director of the Municipal Music School, he will talk about his life and his time in office.
Born in Zwickau, Seifert graduated with a doctorate in engineering in 1974 and joined the SPD in 1989. After several re-elections as Lord Mayor, he retired in 2006. He has received numerous honours for his services, including the Saxon Constitutional Medal.
Music school teacher Emi Suzuki (piano) and her pupils will provide the musical framework for the event.
