DA CAPO - Music for senior citizens
Music café at Kraftwerk e. V. on 3 March with Stephanie Kaiser and Peter Kubisch
On Thursday, 3 March at 3 pm, senior citizens are once again invited to a DA CAPO music café. Stephanie Kaiser and Peter Kubisch will be performing in the main hall of Kraftwerk e.V., Kaßbergstraße 36. The teacher from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School will be supported by her music students.
In addition to live music, guests in the music café will hear Stephanie Kaiser and Peter Kubisch chat to Nancy Gibson about their successful and varied work.
The admission price is six euros, including coffee and cake. Due to the limited number of seats, visitors are requested to make a reservation by calling 0371 3839030. The current rules of the Corona Protection Ordinance apply to the event.
Stephanie Kaiser studied classical singing at the University of Music in Trossingen with Prof. Monika Moldenhauer and "Singing - Early Music" with Gundula Anders and Jan van Elsacker. She has been working as a freelance singer since 2015. She has performed as a soloist with ensemble 01-Klangwerk Chemnitz, the Chemnitz Baroque Orchestra and the Mittelsächsische Philharmonie Freiberg, among others. She also performs throughout Germany with the ensembleAURICULA, which specialises in historical performance practice of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Peter Kubisch studied choral and orchestral conducting with Professor Hans Christoph Rademann at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden. In 2002, he took over the direction of the Freiberg A Cappella Chamber Choir, one of the most renowned vocal ensembles in central Germany. As a lecturer, consultant and conductor, he has many ties to the Saxon choral scene between Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig and its institutions. In 2016, he founded the ensemble "Voice Dance Freiberg" in Freiberg, which specialises in polyphonic vocals from the fields of jazz and pop. Peter Kubisch performs as an organist and harpsichordist with the ensembleAURICULA. He has been choir director and repetiteur at the Mittelsächsisches Theater since December 2018.
