Da Capo – Music for Older People

Musikcafé at Kraftwerk e. V. on 3 September at 3 pm – A big thank you to Nancy Gibson

On Thursday 3 September at 3.00 pm, anyone interested is invited to another ‘Da Capo – Music for Senior Citizens’ music café following the finale in the main hall of Kraftwerk e. V., Kaßbergstraße 36.

Admission costs 7 euros, including coffee and cake. No booking is required. Wheelchair access is available via the signposted side entrance.

This edition of the music café is intended as a token of thanks to Nancy Gibson for her outstanding work as artistic director of the Da Capo music café and as director of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.

In this event format, which Nancy Gibson initiated many years ago and has hosted ever since, she will this time be appearing as the guest of honour.

This special edition of the Music Café traces her life’s journey and showcases the music that has shaped her. Surprises are guaranteed. The event will be hosted by Ute Kiehn-Dziuballa and Bernd Ruscher.

Da Capo Music Café
Since April 2009, the Da Capo Music Café has been inviting guests to the Kraftwerk on the first Thursday of every month for a musical chat with Nancy Gibson. Nancy Gibson was the initiator of the project, which she brought to fruition together with the former director of the Kraftwerk, Ute Kiehn-Dziuballa, and project assistant Helga Neumeister.
