DA CAPO music café on 4 February 2016, 3 p.m.

The Chemnitz Municipal Music School invites you to another "DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" event on 4 February 2016 at 3 pm in the main hall of Kraftwerk e. V., Kaßbergstraße 36. The guest of honour at this year's music café is Hartmut Schill, first concertmaster of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra. Admission is 5.00 euros including coffee and cake.

Hartmut Schill will be the dialogue partner of music school director Nancy Gibson this afternoon. Schill is no stranger to music lovers in Chemnitz. The violin virtuoso, who masters many difficult works with bravura, has played at the Bayreuth Festival, among others.

The audience will learn interesting facts about Hartmut Schill - the "first violin" of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra - during his usual informative chat. The conversation is only interrupted to listen to well-known melodies performed by Schill and a music student.

Barrier-free access for wheelchair users is available at the signposted side entrance.
