DA CAPO music café on 1 October

in the new concert hall of the municipal music school

"DA CAPO - Music for Seniors" invites you to another edition of the music café on Thursday, 1 October 2015 at 3 pm. This time, however, it will not be in the main hall of the Kraftwerk e.V., but in the new hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School, Gerichtsstraße 1, which can be reached by bus no. 62 Flemmingstraße - Gablenz. This event is only presented in October during the music school's festival week in the new hall of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School.

On 1 October, Tom Bitterlich and his teacher Ida Müller will be the celebrity guests at the event. He was a pupil at the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and studied at the Carl Maria von Weber Academy of Music in Dresden from 1998 to 2003. Since August 2003, he has been engaged as a solo repetiteur, conductor, musical director and pianist at Chemnitz Opera House. Tom Bitterlich is no stranger to musical theatre fans. He took over the musical direction in Chemnitz for various pieces, e.g. "Aida" with Heiko Lippmann, "Der Zauberer von Oss", "Zauberflöte für Kinder" also as pianist, or "Flashdance".

From October, Tom Bitterlich took over the musical direction for the musical "Chess - The Musical". He is also well known for accompanying various song recitals, concerts, musical galas and cabaret programmes. Tom Bitterlich is also musical director of the musical department at the Bavarian Theatre Academy "August Everding".

In an exciting and informative chat between music school director Nancy Gibson and Tom Bitterlich, visitors to the music café will learn lots of interesting facts about his new areas of responsibility.

The entrance fee for the event is €5 including coffee and cake.
