Czech Consul General visits the city archive
Invitation to the photo session: Wednesday, 17 January, 10.45 a.m. at the Chemnitz City Archive, Aue 16
The Consul General of the Czech Republic, Dr Jiří Kuděla, will pay a visit to the Chemnitz City Archive on Wednesday, 17 January.
After being welcomed by the head of the city archive, Dr Paolo Cecconi, the guest will be given an introduction to the history and holdings of the city archive, including a presentation of selected documents.
At 10.45 am, representatives of the media are invited to a photo opportunity before Dr Jiří Kuděla is given a tour of the City Archive's stacks and workshop. He will be shown selected objects from the city's history.
This will be followed by a short tour through the city centre to Chemnitz City Hall. After lunch together in the Ratskeller, the Consul General will be given a guided tour of the town hall.
