CWE receives interim management

Chemnitzer Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH (CWE) will have a new top management until a permanent new management team is appointed.

The municipal subsidiary Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschaftsgesellschaft mbH (GGG) will act as a business administrator from mid-October, while the CWE management will be taken over by Simone Kalew, Managing Director of GGG, until around mid-2024. Simone Kalew, Managing Director of GGG, and Katja Loße, authorised signatory of GGG, will take over the management of CWE until around mid-2024. This is necessary as the previous Managing Director is leaving at the end of the year and the search for a permanent replacement has not yet been finalised.

Thanks to the sister companies and subsidiaries it supports and manages (TCC, KBC and other GGG subsidiaries), GGG has broad experience and in-depth expertise in the management and operational safeguarding of a wide range of tasks in companies belonging to the municipal group.

Lord Mayor Sven Schulze: "The German Travel Mart in Chemnitz and the ITB in Berlin are very important topics for CWE in the coming months. I would like to thank Mrs Kalew and Mrs Loße very much for their commitment until a permanent appointment has been made to the CWE management team."
