CWE and Erzgebirge Tourism Association sign contract
Invitation to the press conference: 18 July, 11.30 a.m, Berghotel Pöhlberg, Ernst-Roch-Straße 10, Annaberg-Buchholz
On Monday 18 July at 11.30 a.m., Chemnitzer Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft mbH (CWE) and Tourismusverband Erzgebirge e. V. (TVE) invite you to a press conference at Berghotel Pöhlberg, Ernst-Roch-Straße 10, 09456 Annaberg-Buchholz. The occasion is the signing of a co-operation agreement between CWE and TVE. Both partners have agreed to work together on projects and communication measures to market the city of Chemnitz and the Ore Mountains region to tourists.
The dialogue partners are the District Administrator of the Erzgebirgskreis, Frank Vogel, the Lord Mayor of the City of Chemnitz, Sven Schulze, the Managing Director of the Erzgebirge Tourism Association, Ines Hanisch-Lupaschko and Sören Uhle, Managing Director of Chemnitzer Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH. They will all take a stand on the topic during the official part of the event and will be available to answer individual questions afterwards (from around 12 noon). There will also be an opportunity for photos.
Both the UNESCO World Heritage title of the Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří Mining Region and the title of European Capital of Culture 2025 offer numerous points of contact for shaping the cooperation agreement, particularly through their respective thematic pillars and building blocks. In the long term, both partners are pursuing the goal of successfully establishing themselves as a borderless region in the centre of Europe with a living culture of recommendation.
