Culture and school marketplace takes place for the sixth time
Platform for cultural education: On 7 November, from 3 to 5.30 pm in the TIETZ, event hall - registration possible until 30 October
On Tuesday, 7 November, from 3 to 5.30 pm, the 6th Culture and Schools Marketplace will take place in the event hall at TIETZ, Moritzstraße 20. The Culture and Schools Marketplace offers a platform in a relaxed setting where partners can find each other for exciting projects in order to bring the concerns and opportunities of cultural education in the educational sector to life and make them effective. Participation is free of charge.

Cultural actors can get to know teachers from Chemnitz schools in order to present a specific cultural programme, artistic project or an idea for a collaboration. In turn, teachers can talk to Chemnitz artists or representatives of cultural institutions and associations from all sectors in order to initiate new and enriching project ideas and formats for all-day school programmes, for example.
The event aims to promote and support cooperation between cultural institutions and artists as well as schools and educational institutions in order to strengthen cultural education in Chemnitz. Project ideas that are developed together with one or more schools at the marketplace can be registered directly on site for one of the funding prizes offered by the City of Chemnitz.
