Cultural organisation can still receive funding for 2022
Applications possible until 15 November - Deadline for projects in 2023 is 30 June
Funding is still available for spontaneous projects in the field of art and culture in the current year 2022. This is announced by the City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation. Applications can be submitted to the Kulturbetrieb, Cultural Management/Cultural Strategy department until 15 November 2022. Small projects with a maximum application amount of 2,000 euros can be applied for online via the Amt24.de portal, project applications over 2,000 euros must be sent to the Kulturbetrieb using a form.
For projects in 2023, the deadline for applications for institutional funding and project funding of more than EUR 3,500 is 30 June 2022. For planned projects in 2023 with an application amount of up to EUR 3,500, the application must be received by the Kulturbetrieb by 1 September 2022 at the latest.
Investment projects in 2023 also have the chance to be funded. This is because the Free State of Saxony is once again providing investment reinforcement funds as well as additional investment funds for regionally important cultural institutions to reduce the renovation and investment backlog in the cultural sector. The prerequisite for funding is that the measure costs at least 5,000 euros. These projects can be applied for until 30 June 2022 in the cultural sector using the application form.
