Crime Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz: Addiction prevention conference in Chemnitz on 25 October

Next Wednesday, 25 October 2017, 10 a.m. (admission from 9.30 a.m.), the addiction prevention conference of the Crime Prevention Council of the City of Chemnitz will take place in the TIETZ, event hall, 3rd floor.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to this event. Due to limited capacity, please register by Monday, 23 October by sending an e-mail to kriminalpraevention(at)stadt-chemnitz.de.
Numerous prominent speakers have been organised. For example, Dr Reinhild Benterbusch, consultant to the Saxon State Ministry of Social Affairs and Consumer Protection, Department of Health Economics, will speak on the new Prevention Act, Dr Fabian Magerl, State Secretary of Health, will give a lecture on the new Prevention Act, and Dr Dr Dr K. K. K. will speak on the new Prevention Act. Fabian Magerl, Managing Director of Barmer in Saxony, Statutory Health Insurance (GKV), will talk about prevention and the role of health insurance companies, and Dr Henrik Jungaberele from the FINDER Academy, Berlin, will present the results of the Drugscience Congress 2017. The spectrum of other presentations will cover many interesting topics on addiction prevention, from herbal mixtures as cannabis substitutes, addiction prevention and refugees to the counselling services offered by Stadtmission Chemnitz.
The event is organised in cooperation with the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre, the Netzwerk für Kultur- und Jugendarbeit e.V. and the State Prevention Council of the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior. The technical realisation was carried out by the Drugs Working Group of the Crime Prevention Council.
Please note: The symposium is fully booked. Registrations for the public are only possible for the evening event from 7 pm on the topic of crystal meth.
