Courses for summer semester 2024 online from Monday
Adult education centre: Courses can be booked from 4 December, 10 a.m.
The programme for the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre's summer semester 2024 will be online from 10 a.m. on Monday, 4 December. All courses taking place between 26 February and 30 August 2024 can be searched for and booked at www.vhs-chemnitz.de.
The Chemnitz Adult Education Centre's summer semester begins on 26 February 2024. Twelve weeks before the start of the semester, interested parties can browse the Adult Education Centre's spring-summer programme for their desired courses and register for them straight away. With more than 500 courses currently on offer in six subject areas, the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre offers a proven variety and at the same time invites you to get to know many new courses.
For example, there are new performing arts programmes in the arts and culture department. Under the title "Power to the Poets", Chemnitz poetry slammer Andreas Henz teaches the basics of spoken word art as well as helpful creative techniques for writing. To ideally complement a successful reading stage performance, actor Michael-Paul Milow gives courses in voice training and articulation as well as improvisation theatre.
There is also news in the foreign language department. Those interested can look forward to introductions to Polish and Finnish.
The vhs programme is constantly being updated and expanded with new and interesting events.
The summer semester programme will be published as a brochure on 5 February 2024. It will first be available at the TIETZ and in the following days at many other distribution points in Chemnitz.
There will be an opportunity to pick up the programme hot off the press on 8 February 2024 at the Adult Education Centre's traditional market day.
Secure places on your favourite course now
As always, it is advisable to book courses in good time. Even if something comes up at short notice, registered participants can remain relaxed - cancellations can be made free of charge up to six working days before the start of the course. Also important: those who register in good time not only secure their own place, but also help to make the course itself possible.
