Corona tests for employees in Chemnitz daycare centres
Starting this week, the City of Chemnitz will provide nursery school teachers in the municipal daycare centres and in the facilities of independent providers with two rapid antigen tests per week free of charge.
The tests will be carried out by employees trained in advance for rapid testing at the respective centre. In the municipal facilities, the fire brigade and health department train the employees. In the facilities of independent organisations, the city contributes 60 euros per employee to the training courses.
These tests are voluntary for the carers and should be carried out at the beginning of the week and at the weekend. If the number of infections decreases, one test per week will be sufficient.
The aim is to limit the number of infections by recognising and interrupting chains of infection in good time.
