Coordinated construction project Hohlweg completed
Tomorrow, 11 October, the coordinated construction project in Hohlweg between Frankenberger Straße and the house with the number 11b, which has been carried out under the leadership of ESC since 7 August 2023, comes to an end.
As part of the coordinated construction project by ESC - Entsorgungsbetrieb der Stadt Chemnitz, the utility company eins and the City of Chemnitz's traffic and civil engineering department, the sewer, including connecting pipes, and the drinking water pipe were renewed and a pavement was built along the road.
The originally planned construction period of five months could not be adhered to. The reasons for this included the additional, unplanned laying of media by Telekom and the partially unknown depth of existing media, which led to the re-routing of the road. This required extensive adjustments to the property.
Due to the limited space available, it was not possible to carry out parallel work involving the laying of utilities, pavement and road construction.
The company Baugesellschaft mbH Straubelt from Niederwiesa carried out the work.
