Cooperation between MDR and the City of Chemnitz for the European Capital of Culture 2025

Signing of the agreement on 16 July, 12 noon at the TIETZ, gallery "Karl liebt Käthe"

On Friday, 16 July 2021, 12 noon, the director of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, Prof. Dr Karola Wille, and Lord Mayor Sven Schulze will sign a cooperation agreement on the European Capital of Culture 2025 in the "Karl liebt Käthe" gallery in the TIETZ, Wiesenstraße entrance. Sandro Viroli, Director of MDR-Landesfunkhaus Sachsen, and Jana Brandt, MDR Programme Director, will also be present. As European Capital of Culture 2025, Chemnitz will be of great importance for Central Germany, Germany and Europe.

Media representatives are cordially invited to the signing of the media partnership.
