Construction work on the Markersdorf/Morgenleite pedestrian zone is interrupted
Due to the winter temperatures, construction work on the Markersdorf/Morgenleite pedestrian zone in section III - between Albert-Schweitzer-Oberschule and Burkhardtsdorfer Straße - is currently suspended.
Continuation is planned from mid-March 2018. From this point onwards, the paving and slabs will be laid in the first section of the path, the substructure of which has already been completed.
From the end of April, inetz GmbH will carry out coordinated additional services in connection with the renovation of the pedestrian zone - renovation of the collector sewer network. The landscaping work is expected to be completed by 30 September 2018.
The accessibility of the previously prepared path areas is ensured. The construction site has also been safely cordoned off.
The construction costs totalled around 222,000 euros. The planning services were provided by iproplan Planungsgesellschaft mbH, Chemnitz. The contractor is Tiefbau Böhm GmbH & Co KG, Chemnitz
