Construction work on Neefestraße lasts two days longer
Contrary to the announcement in the current construction site information, the cancellation of the traffic restriction on Neefestraße due to the bridge renovation has to be postponed by two days.
The construction schedule for the Neefestraße bridge renovation had to be adjusted due to the additional work required for mastic asphalt construction. Mastic asphalt is used as a special construction material in the carriageway edge areas and transitions, as it is more flexible and creates a connection to the rigid carriageway.
The current restriction of the city-bound carriageway will continue until 22 September 2015.
22 September 2015. During this time, the crash barriers and the expansion joint construction will be installed.
On 23 September 2015, the remaining work (joint grouting, road markings) will be carried out with the city-bound carriageway closed on one side. All traffic restrictions during the construction period will then cease.
