Construction project to extend Paul-Fischer-Weg on Bornaer Höhe completed - road will be opened to traffic tomorrow
According to information from the city's civil engineering department, the "Expansion of Paul-Fischer-Weges" construction project on Bornaer Höhe will be completed today and the road will be opened to public traffic tomorrow, Thursday.
With the basic road construction of the Paul-Fischer-Weges (PM 267 of 22 May 2013), the civil engineering measures in the "Bornaer Höhe" housing estate have thus been completed. At the same time, a combined sewerage system was laid in addition to the road construction, as was already the case in Geschwister-Scholl-Straße and Horst-Vieth-Weg.
This means that the residential areas on these three residential streets are now connected to the central wastewater disposal system and the Heinersdorf sewage treatment plant, thus realising a further measure of the wastewater disposal concept.
The drinking water and gas pipes were also renewed as part of the construction project.
Around 500,000 euros were invested in the overall construction project.
The civil engineering company VSTR GmbH Rodewisch was commissioned to carry out the construction work in Paul-Fischer-Weg.
