Connecting road Irkutsker Straße - Carl-Hamel-Straße closed from 13 September
Coordinated construction project by the Civil Engineering Department of the City of Chemnitz and the waste disposal company of the City of Chemnitz
From Monday, 13 September, the existing combined sewer and the carriageway of the connecting path between Irkutsker Straße and the southern entrance to the SV Rapid Chemnitz-Kappel sports ground, Carl-Hamel-Straße, will be renewed.
The work is expected to take seven weeks.
The road must be fully closed in the affected area for the construction work.
Pedestrian and cycle traffic will be diverted via Stollberger Straße.
The construction work will cost around 250,000 euros in total. The company Chemnitzer Verkehrsbau GmbH has been commissioned to carry out the work.
