Congratulations on your 100th birthday!
Hildegard Zetzsche celebrates her 100th birthday on 10 May 2013
Extremely fit, mentally active and very well oriented - this is how the staff and residents of the nursing home know Hildegard Zetzsche, who was born in Chemnitz and will be 100 years old on 10 May 2013. She is always out and about in the home looking for things to do or interesting people to talk to - sitting around and waiting is not her thing. And she never did that throughout her life. The trained secretary worked for the Anton Kurth company from her training until she retired, and in her free time she loved needlework, especially knotting and embroidery.
The sprightly lady spends her twilight years in the DRK nursing home, where she also awaits well-wishers for her milestone birthday.
The real highlight, however, is the family celebration on Saturday in a pub with all her relatives. Hildegard Zetzsche is already looking forward to seeing her son Peter and grandsons Martin and Robert.
