Concert project: Children and young people compose for professionals

Together with Klangwerk-Neue Musik und Ufer e. V., the Chemnitz Municipal Music School is presenting an exciting concert project at the Kraftwerk socio-cultural centre. You are invited to a special musical experience on Saturday, 5 October at 11 a.m. in the hall at Kaßbergstraße 36: children and young people aged seven to 17 from the Dresden composers' class will present their latest works and let the new music resound. The compositions will be performed under the title "Worlds of Nature" by musicians from the Dresden Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Milko Kersten.

Girls and boys from the Chemnitz Municipal Music School under the direction of Andreas Winkler will also present their own musical creations in the "StreichHölzer" orchestra at the concert in the power station, welcoming the guests from Dresden in a very special musical way.

Admission to the concert costs six euros per person, concessions three euros.
