Concert at Chemnitz main station
Municipal music school: on 2 September, 3 pm, main station, entrance hall
On Saturday, 2 September at 3 pm, music will resound at Chemnitz Central Station. The Chemnitz Municipal Music School will be giving a concert of singing and brass band music in the central entrance hall of the station.
Admission is free of charge. Not only travellers and guests of the city are invited, but also Chemnitz residents, families and interested people of all ages.
Trumpets, recorders, oboes and clarinets as well as bandoneons and accordions from juniors to seniors play a colourful programme ranging from classical music to jazz.
Anyone who didn't know that there is a Chemnitz railway station song will find out there: The choir will sing the song, which has been specially rewritten for this concert.
The concert is a co-operation between Chemnitz Municipal Music School and Deutsche Bahn/Chemnitz Central Station.
