Commercial space in Röhrsdorf is sold
At its meeting today, the city council decided to sell a commercial site in Röhrsdorf's Leipziger Straße industrial park. Robert Müller GmbH is acquiring the 22,700 m² site for around 1.053 million euros and will set up a haulage business there. The company previously had its branch in Burgstädt.
The company is planning to build a forwarding hall with lorry ramps and an office building. A hall extension is planned in a second construction phase. 65 employees are to work at the site in future. The Chemnitz business promotion and development company CWE has supported the company in its search for a location. The purchase negotiations were successfully concluded by the property office.
The site was initially intended for Gühring oHG. However, the company asked for the purchase contract to be cancelled after it decided not to go ahead with the planned new building.
