Closure of Erfenschlager Straße is lifted at night
Traffic authority responds to tip-off from Einsiedel local council
From Thursday, 10 March, the full closure of Erfenschlager Straße will be lifted outside working hours. The city of Chemnitz is thus honouring a request from the Einsiedel local council.
The corresponding request was made at the local council meeting on Tuesday and was subsequently examined. It was decided that the road in the construction site area would be open to traffic on both sides outside of working hours, which run from Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with traffic lights.
However, it is possible to deviate from the regular working hours depending on the construction process and progress.
Erfenschlager Straße has been closed at Dr.-Karl-Wolff-Straße since the end of February until probably the beginning of April due to sewer construction work. The diversion is via the main roads 180 and 95.
