Civil engineering works in Reineckerstraße completed
Coordinated complex project by ESC, eins energie and the city's civil engineering department thus completed ahead of schedule - a total of around 700,000 euros was invested
The extensive civil engineering works in Reineckerstraße between Dürerstraße and Casparistraße have now been completed. The complex project, which was coordinated between the City of Chemnitz's waste disposal company, the City of Chemnitz's civil engineering department and the utility company eins energie in Sachsen GmbH & Co. KG, was thus completed ahead of the originally planned deadline at the end of May (PM 458 dated 15 July 2014).
The construction work involved renewing the sewerage system, drinking water pipes, city lighting and electricity supply as well as the final road construction. In 2013, the civil engineering department carried out a major road upgrade in the section from Dürerstraße to Fichtestraße. In 2014, the section from Fichtestraße to Casparistraße was renovated.
The construction project started in mid-July 2013 and involved a total investment of around 700,000 euros. The construction project was realised by the company Dietmar Mothes GmbH, Chemnitz.
