On Thursday, 18 September, from 5 to 8 p.m., the Fairtrade Town Chemnitz steering group invites you to a "fair after-work event" at Johannisplatz in front of the FAIRE-Welt-Laden.
In addition to a free guided tour of the city with themed stations on the production and trade of textiles, which lasts from 5 to 6.30 pm, participants are invited to a quiz lounge with mixed drinks made from fairly traded ingredients from 6 pm.
The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of fair production and trade practices and sustainable structures and to gain insights into the city together. It takes place as part of the nationwide "Fair Week 2025" and is supported by the German Foundation for Commitment and Volunteering.
