City of Chemnitz with information and advice at the 14th authorities festival
On Sunday, 21 August 16, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Klaffenbach moated castle
This year, the City of Chemnitz, including the fire brigade, will once again be taking part in the traditional festival of public authorities at Klaffenbach moated castle. In addition to the long-standing participants from the administration, such as the citizens' office, the public order office, the registration office and the service centre D 115, the food monitoring and veterinary office, the social welfare office, the fire brigade and the waste disposal and city cleaning company of the city of Chemnitz (ASR) will also be represented.
Information stands will be available to answer questions about the registration system, identity cards and passports as well as the nationwide public authority telephone number 115. The public order office will be presenting its traffic monitoring division at the public authorities festival and showcasing a radar vehicle with permanently installed measuring technology as well as an old and a current portable measuring device.
For the third time, the Social Welfare Office will also be taking part in the festival of public authorities and will be presenting counselling services from the Senior Citizens and Disability Assistance Department and the Local Care Authority. The Food Inspection and Veterinary Office will be focussing on the topic of food inspections.
The fire brigade is always a special attraction for visitors, as is the ASR with its information stand and children's activities.
ASR employees provide information about the company's range of services, the waste disposal systems in the city and advice on composting in your own garden. The ASR will also be presenting its apprenticeship programmes. Visitors can put their knowledge to the test in an exciting summer puzzle. Mascot EMSI welcomes visitors to the festival and plants summer cress with them.
