City of Chemnitz as a trainer for various professions

Applications for the start of training in 2024 are possible from 1 July

From Saturday, 1 July, interested parties can apply for an apprenticeship with the City of Chemnitz starting in 2024. With more than 4,000 employees and numerous professions, the City of Chemnitz is a diverse employer.

Apprentices at the City of Chemnitz receive fair pay in line with collective agreements and 30 days' holiday. With the Deutschlandticket, trainees can use all local public transport at a reduced rate. The City of Chemnitz is looking for trainees to start in 2024:

  • Administrative assistant (m/f/d)
  • Specialist for media and information services (m/f/d), specialising in archives
  • Specialist for media and information services (m/f/d), specialising in the library
  • Animal keeper (m/f/d), specialising in zoo
  • Gardener (m/f/d), specialising in gardening and landscaping
  • Emergency paramedic (m/f/d)
  • Educator (m/f/d)
  • Specialist for swimming pool operations (m/f/d)
  • Geomatics technician (m/f/d)
  • Surveying technician (m/f/d)
  • Road builder (m/f/d)
