City library remains open with restrictions

Media lending and return still possible

Due to the update of the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance (dated 30 October 2020), the city library can remain open for media lending and returns from today until 30 November 2020 for the time being.

It is not possible to use the library rooms as a place to stay, work and learn or for leisure activities. There are no PCs or internet workstations available.

A library card must be carried when visiting the city library. Visits are limited to a maximum of 20 minutes.

- Central Library in the TIETZ:

All events, guided tours and training courses at the Central Library and the branches have unfortunately been cancelled.

The digital services Onleihe, Filmfriend, Genios etc. can be used at any time.
