Own and foreign, in German, English, French, Russian and Ukrainian, recited and sung by Arna Aley, Ulrike Brummert, Jörg Kersten, Sophie Läßig and Sabrina Tietz. Accompanied on the piano by Yidong Qiao.

Stephan Hermlin - the forgotten poet, invitation to a re-encounter
Annotated reading with Burkhard Müller, author and literary critic

Stephan Hermlin (1915-1997) was one of the most influential writers of the GDR. He achieved astonishing things as a poet and novelist. Unlike his close friend from Chemnitz, Stefan Heym, Hermlin is still waiting to be rediscovered. Some inconsistencies in his CV have damaged his reputation. But, according to literary critic Burkhard Müller, a poet doesn't have to be a saint for his work to be interesting.

Josef in particular, who is black, feels the rejection of people who are against anything foreign-looking on principle. Dirk Kurbjuweit is one of the most versatile and renowned authors of our time.
He is known to a wide readership as a reporter for Die Zeit and Der Spiegel. Many of his literary successes have served as models for film, theatre and radio plays.

The debut novel by award-winning documentary filmmaker and composer Mario Schneider masterfully tells of love, death and the temptations of our new age. Ella and René, a young couple from East Germany, spend their first summer in the south of France after reunification. They end up in the dilapidated castle hotel of Madame de Violet, a countess who lives with her servant as if in a forgotten time. They will be her last guests. The two of them experience the temptations and disappointments of a new world and the fragility of a relationship they believed to be solid.

Friendship, relationships and sexuality are also important topics for people with autism, but at the same time there are many uncertainties for everyone involved. The presentation will describe typical experiences, needs and possible ways to help develop solutions.
The lecture is aimed at autistic people themselves, their relatives and friends, but also at professionals from the fields of education, therapy, medicine, etc. and anyone else who is interested.

In the cold and stormy February 1990, a young man, a former border guard, is reported missing in Dresden. At the same time, the KDD team led by Tobias Falck, Edgar Schmidt and Stefanie Bach are investigating a case of art theft. A valuable painting in the Dresden Gallery of Old Masters has been replaced by a fake. Shortly afterwards, the forger is murdered. Could it be a case of old Stasi machinations? The West German ex-commissioner Sybille Suderberg, who is now a private detective in the East, plays an obscure role in the case. Because of her, the Dresden police officers go on a business trip to the unknown West, which leads them to carnival-drunk Cologne, but also into a dangerous trap.
