Book presentation with Stefan Tschök, moderated by Conny Hartmann.
Venue: TIETZ, Stefan-Heym-Forum
Attendance: 5 euros, tickets at the box office in the Stefan Heym Forum
From apple tree parade to central bus stop: this is how the Capital of Culture works!
Yippee, Chemnitz is the European Capital of Culture 2025! And yet questions remain. What does a night mayor actually do during the day? Is it worth visiting the Saxon city without a car? Will two million people be pushing their way through the Bazillenröhre? Does the left-turning Ringbus run faster than the right? How will a "Maker" get from the "Flagship" to the "Purple Path" without an ICE? And will the shade of the market lime tree really be enough for all the guests?
If you're looking for answers, you won't find them in this book. Instead, author Stefan Tschök presents "What? Chemnitz?!", a practical instruction manual for the Capital of Culture. In it, he reveals with a wink how 2025 can become a year of success for the entire region. And what not to do ...
