Freifunk Chemnitz e. V. meets in the middle of one of its largest installations and shows in a cosy environment what is possible with WLAN today.
From a simple router that you place by your window to complex event planning, you can come along with your questions or set up your first Freifunk router together with us.

Everyday life in the Heckert area in the 1980s is described in entertaining episodes and memories. From the noise in the school dining hall to the smell of the corridors and festivities in living rooms that were too small, Manuela Klitzsch remembers growing up in the children's room with the fabulous view with a wink and a love of detail.
Manuela Klitzsch was born in Karl-Marx-Stadt in 1976 and grew up in the Fritz-Heckert area. She studied German and classical singing in Dresden and Magdeburg, likes packet soups and thunderstorms and now lives in Dresden with her husband and two children.
An event organised by the Heimatland Sachsen publishing house.
