City decides to amend the general ruling: New Corona Protection Ordinance of the state is the authoritative regulation
The city of Chemnitz has amended and adapted its general decree in response to the state's new Corona Protection Ordinance. The new regulations will come into force at the weekend together with the state ordinance. The state's Corona Protection Ordinance is primarily authoritative.
As required by the new ordinance, the city has specified the following points due to the 7-day incidence of over 50 infections per 100,000 inhabitants:
- Organisers and operators of businesses, sports facilities, restaurants, hotels, places of accommodation, universities, training and further education facilities and gatherings in public spaces must record personal data of guests or participants. This includes name, telephone number or email address, postcode and the period of the visit. This data must be kept for one month and made available to the public health department on request.
- Private meetings or celebrations may only take place with up to 10 people.
- Marriages and funerals may be attended by up to 15 people.
- Company and club celebrations are not permitted.
- Events are permitted for up to 100 people. This includes both participants and visitors. Exceptions may be made by the health authority.
- Mouth and nose coverings must be worn correctly in the following areas:
- In school buildings and on school grounds except for lessons
- In buildings open to the public
- In shopping centres, also outside the shops
- At the weekly market for visitors and vendors
- In museums
- In all municipal office buildings
- At all public transport stops
- In restaurants, churches and religious communities until you are seated
- When singing in church services
7. pubs and restaurants must be closed from 22:00 to 05:00. Alcohol sales are prohibited in all shops, theatres and cinemas during this time.
8. prostitution centres are closed. Prostitution is generally prohibited.
9. visiting nursing homes, old people's homes, youth centres and hospitals is generally prohibited for the protection of people. However, many exceptions are possible. Homes that have extra rooms for visits must be equipped in accordance with the hygiene and distancing rules. The facility management decides on visits if a corresponding hygiene and distancing concept is in place. The data must also be kept there for tracking purposes.
In accordance with the new Corona Protection Ordinance, requirements are relaxed if the incidence value falls below the limit of 50 for 10 days.
