CITY CYCLING: Prizes are awarded

On Tuesday, 12 November at 12 noon, Mayor Knut Kunze will present the team from Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium with the prizes for the most total kilometres cycled and the most actively cycling school in this year's CITY CYCLING campaign.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
This year, the CITY CYCLING prizes will be presented to the individual winners on site in a decentralised manner.

CITY CYCLING
CITY CYCLING took place in Chemnitz from 2 to 22 September 2024. This year, more people from Chemnitz took part in the Climate Alliance's international cycling campaign than ever before. 3,152 active cyclists pedalled hard and cycled 573,416 kilometres in 220 teams. This corresponds to a CO2 avoidance of approx. 95 tonnes compared to using a car.
