City council meeting live on the Internet
The public meeting of the City Council on Wednesday will be streamed live for the first time at www.chemnitz.de.
The administration is thus implementing the resolution passed by the city council in October 2015. From now on, the monthly meetings of the city parliament can also be followed from your home PC, smartphone or tablet. This increases the transparency of local political decisions.
The video signal from the permanently installed camera in the council chamber is transmitted and the relevant agenda item and the result of the vote are displayed. The meeting can be viewed live at www.chemnitz.de/stadtrat and is available as an on-demand stream from the following day until the next meeting of the city council.
