City council decides to redevelop Scheffelstrasse
Measures in the section between Kauffahrtei and Dittersdorfer Straße
At its meeting today, the city council decided to completely renovate Scheffelstraße between Kauffahrtei and Dittersdorfer Straße.
The old and partially damaged pavement will be removed and a new asphalt surface applied. The kerbs will also be renewed, the crossing point in the Heinrich-Sturm-Weg area will be rebuilt for pedestrians and cyclists and the bus stop area will be made barrier-free.
The costs for this measure amount to around 410,000 euros.
Construction work is scheduled to begin in August 2023 and be completed in October 2023.
