City council decides to extend the agreement with the "Friends of the Bernsdorf outdoor pool" interest group
At its meeting yesterday, the town council decided to extend the agreement with the "Friends of the Bernsdorf outdoor pool" interest group to provide voluntary labour. The work includes preparing for the season, securing the season and post-season work.
The agreement concluded with the Sports Office, based on submission B-046/2012, was initially limited until the end of the 2015 outdoor pool season and will now be extended by five years following yesterday's decision by the City Council. With the extension of the agreement, the community of interest undertakes to provide the following services:
- Pool painting
- Green maintenance
- Lawn maintenance
The staff required for the safe operation of the outdoor pool as well as the technical and operator support of the facility will be provided by the Education and Sports Department. In addition, as in the other municipal outdoor pools, temporary staff are employed to cover the outdoor pool season. The coordination of all services on the part of the City of Chemnitz as well as the deployment of the loose community of interest is carried out by the pool operations manager of the outdoor pool or by the administration of the swimming pool department of the Education and Sports Office.
